Support to help you integrate your values into family life, feel closer to your kids and help them thrive.  Coaching by phone and email, or in person.
Raising children isn't always easy, but it should be deeply satisfying -- and fun!  With up-to-date information, skills, and support, you can create the enjoyable family life you dream of and help your child grow academically and socially.  Build a nurturing relationship with your child that will give him or her a wonderful start in life.  What could be more important?

With coaching you get help when you need it.  With unlimited email support, you don't even have to leave your home to get solutions to the problems you face every day.

You will find out how to communicate effectively, recognize what works and what doesn't, and reduce family conflict.  Instead of following the crowd, you will discover how to parent based on your own values.  Working as a team with your coach, you will develop a practical approach to any special situations or challenges you may face, such as having a gifted child...a single-parent household...an interfaith or multicultural family...or a demanding work schedule.

You will learn to find time for yourself, find a better balance between work and family life, become more patient and confident, and have a happier, more confident child who thrives in school, on the playground, and at home.  You will discover how to love being a parent.

Comments on Jean Fitzpatrick's books on parenting and family life:

On Something More:  Nurturing Your Child's Spiritual Growth (Penguin):  "Something More is a book I want to give all my friends who have young children. It is fresh and wise....Above all, it is a loving book." -- Madeleine L'Engle

"Jean Fitzpatrick has written a wise, loving, and very useful book. I recommend it." Rabbi Harold Kushner, author of When Bad Things Happen to Good People

"This is terrific! A much-needed positive resource for nurturing our children's souls." -- John Bradshaw, author of Homecoming

A Parents magazine Best Parenting Book, 1991

"An excellent resource for parents." -- Publisher's Weekly

"Something More is an ideal resource for parents who view themselves as spiritual pilgrims and who desire to share the delights of their journey with their children." -- Frederic and Mary Ann Brussat, Spirituality & Practice.

On Once Upon a Family:  Read-Aloud Stories and Activities That Nurture Healthy Kids (VIking):  "Fitzpatrick offers traditional tales from many cultures and abundant ideas for leading children to engage with the stories on their own terms. Her advice is pleasingly spiritual and decidedly noncookbook; she calls devotion to child-rearing guides that offer systems and tips 'virtual parenting.'" -- San Jose Mercury News

"Fitzpatrick's discussions stimulate readers to review their own lives and show them how best to transmit the lessons they've learned to the next generation." -- The Washington Post Book World

On Small Wonder:  How to Answer Your Child's Impossible Questions About Life (Penguin):  "A wonderfully penetrating book that insightfully addresses the real questions that kids want to discuss in lucid, understandable language." -- Rabbi Earl Grollman, author of Talking About Death: A Dialogue Between Parent and Child

"Fitzpatrick's...advice is pleasingly spiritual and decidedly noncookbook." -- San Jose Mercury News
